5iveHead raises £14 million Series A to bring portrait optimisation to every professional
Funding will accelerate 5iveHead Live and the 5iveHead Enterprise platform.
5iveHead Technologies Ltd., the portrait optimisation service used by more than 2.4 million people, today announced a £14 million Series A funding round led by Calloway Dunmore Partners, with participation from Northbridge Ventures and a group of angel investors.
The funding will be used to expand 5iveHead Live, the company's real-time video product, to scale the 5iveHead Enterprise platform, and to grow its research team.
5iveHead is used for passports, staff passes, professional profiles and speaker biographies. The company's 5iveHead Score, a measure of portrait proportion, has been adopted by organisations including Harlow & Pryce Logistics, which recently standardised 4,200 staff passes in nine days.
“5iveHead has built something that people use once and then don't go back,” said a partner at Calloway Dunmore Partners. “The retention is remarkable.”
